Does everyone raise this hand preflop? I think I just flat call in order to keep the pot small. By raising preflop and continuation betting on the flop, you have put a large part of your stack into the pot. Granted, you got unlucky in this hand, but I think it would have played better if you kept the pot small initially.

[/ QUOTE ] No. We have to raise this hand for value as we are most likely way ahead of villian's range here. As played it's either check fold turn or push and it's pretty close. Villian was an idiot.
