I agree, I don't want it to get toooo big.

We've already got 5 interested... How big do we want the group to be? I'd say no more than 7...

We'll call this Study Group 1 (original, no?)

Let's also take the next 2 interested parties to complete Group 1.

If there are more interested parties, they can post here as well and form a group 2 if there is enough interest.

Edit: Or we can just PM Igotblackjak as he suggests.

there is no reason it can't be the first 7... then as we get started, if someone slacks off, or whatever, we can simply exempt them, and post that we need a replacement...

not like this is a country club or something, but we gotta have standards...

once we get the group, here's how it should go based on the input above...

each day, each member e-mails 1 tournament history (the entire thing), then each member of the group reviews the history, making comments on interesting hands and sends it back to owner...
then when owner gets all of them back, owner consolidates and re-sends.. changing the subject title to "7.10.06 review complete" or something...

as soon as we something is not working as efficiently as possible, we can make changes to procedure...

it should be noted that this will be somewhat of a commitment, but I can't imagine it taking more than 15 mins a day or so... we'll see.

I'm a noob, and I've been looking for a good time to make my first post. As I think this is a great idea, I thought I'd put in my two cents. Maybe this is crazy talk, but why couldn't the same thing be done with SnG's that's currently done with the limit forums, i.e. have separate forums for different levels. It always seems like the veterans don't appreciate answering donk questions from the 6.50's and 11's players. Having separate forums would eliminate that.

That has been discussed and denied thus far. That's why they have the high stakes digest.

The only thing is that you can't be tooo stringent with the reply date... As people are busy and some days I will be busy, etc...

But this is why it's good to have a fair number of people involved. That way even if a few people can't respond there are still going to be plenty of comments.
