Try asking to speak to the nearest Dikshit to the phone and you might just luck out and get somewhere!

Mike O'Malley was able to help out in Felicia Lee's WSOP situation.

This is a completely different situation but it still relates to a point of confusion where YOU were told basically "keep on playing, and we'll give you $10k for the next seat you win."

Mike O'Malley seems to be the only one there who can figure out these very obvious situations so try e-mailing him.

Also try calling them and banging your head against the wall with them.

you have ABSOLUTELY every reason to be upset about this.

You DID tell them that you won your $10k seat via the points promo.
They DID tell you that you could win another seat.

Wow, Party makes me mad sometimes.
And I don't even really play there!! (ha ha)

Please keep us posted on what is happening with this situation as I believe 2+2'ers have a right to know.

Neither. It's just good advice.

I'm not a big fan of racism either...but I have had a couple of occasions where I have had difficulty understanding a rep on the phone there.

And obviously some of their reps responding to e-mail aren't fully comfortable with english and/or have difficulty understanding your problem.

All of your WSOP Seats are belong to us!!
All of your 50k party-points are belong to you!!

Default Re: VIP Player owed $11,000 UPDATE

Well I called VIP (which I had done a couple times previously but I was more forceful this time) and emailed Mike O. Mike replied and said he will forward my concerns to the head of Events dept. VIP told me to email a supervisor, who replied with pretty much the exact thing that Mike said. So the head of Events department should have two emails in his box waiting for him. There is apparently no way to reach the Events team by phone.

I am pretty optimistic because as incompetant as Party can be sometimes, I dont recall hearing about a case where they blatantly screwed someone in a clear cut situation like this.

Thanks for the suggestions and I will keep everyone posted.

some have a strong accent, but to say they don't speak english is just silly.

Well, I didn't say they don't speak english of course.

just that I have had difficulty with the accent on the phone a couple of times. And that their ability to comprehend simple e-mails has occasionally been lacking.

I do think that insisting to speak to someone who 'actually speaks english' is a bit rude though.
Give the first rep an opportunity to help you...if it's clear they aren't helping and you aren't getting anywhere, then ask to speak with somebody else.

Granny, good to be sensitive to fair treatment, but with all due respect, sometimes it's VERY hard to communicate with the reps' accents. I had to spell my screen name like 6 times before they got it right the last time I talked to them...overall they are okay, though.
