Re: Results
[ QUOTE ]
Everyone is giving me a hard time here, for not raising more, but I feel u got to respect 3-bets from the BB. Any decent hand is coming along for the ride in a big pot like this, but to add money into it OOP and give away any deception screams AA,KK,QQ,AKs, or AQs. Im behind all of those hands except AK after the flop... so why am I raising? [/ QUOTE ] The reason to raise the earlier streets is to fold AK and make money from hands like JJ or TT. The risk is that AA,KK,QQ,AQ are out which have you beat, but this is a big pot and you need to maximize your chances to win it. I think the river is an easier raise than the flop or turn. You are right that you're a dog to most hands that would be capped pf, until the river. When you're ahead of AA,KK,AK on the river I think you can 3bet. AQ is the only real worry left. |

Re: Results
aside from preflop, this looks fine. will BB call two cold with KK on this river? if so, you should probably 3-bet there. i'd give AQ KQ QJ QT to the river raiser so you're not a huge favorite against him. but if the BB cant lay down AA/KK to two more, 3-bet. i would not raise the flop/turn for sure.

Re: Results
I was all set to raise until bam, right in front of me I get raised. I didn't want to raise and have to call down a cap by AQ, so thats why I didn't raise. River raiser had A9... go figure.
