YOU GOT PLAYED pretty sure your contract just got reset. enjoy your next 24 months at verizon! [/ QUOTE ] Wrong wrong wrong. Verizon allows you to freely move up or down in their plans and most options without penalty. And you can do it online. I know from experience. |

Re: Tip: \"I went over on my cell phone minutes\"
I just got off the phone with them, and they said:
"You have 90 days to try out the new plan". Upgrading did not extend my current contract. I can go back down to the old plan within 90 days and everything is kosher. On day 91, if I go back down, I have to renew the plan, and push it out 1 year (or 2 I suppose if I want some hardware promotion). |

Re: Tip: \"I went over on my cell phone minutes\"
Update:
If you change your plan, your contract end date DOES get pushed back. I am on a 1 year plan, and it got pushed back 1 year. Not sure if it would have been 2 if I was on two. She said, "They should have told you that when you switched plans." They did not. |

Re: Tip: \"I went over on my cell phone minutes\"
I've done this too (twice). I have the "old school plan" with 8PM nighttime minutes. I've upgraded twice to the new plan 9PM and more minutes when I would have go over by alot. And each time (within 30) days I got to go back to my 8PM older plan with no extensions. It may have been different if I kept the new plan.

Something I've been meaning to do anyways. Damn....an extra $8 a month is gonna break my bank. ScottieK [/ QUOTE ] $8 a month? I have Verizon and I get unlimited IN txt messaging and picture/video messaging as well as 40 non-Verizon messages for $5 a month. What plan are you on? |
