Re: On Becoming an Assassin..
Practical experience is a must here. No crime boss wants to be the one to let the guy who hangs around take a whack at killing somebody. If you're looking to see the world first, French Foreign Legion is a legitimate thought.

Re: On Becoming an Assassin..
They're not actually French citizens. They just live there. No criminal record is accepted though.

[/ QUOTE ] The key is 'Foreign' not 'French'. It is pretty funny that the toughest regiment in the French Army is made up of non-French though. Unfortunately, their uniforms do seem to be designed by a Frenchman though: |

Re: On Becoming an Assassin..
It's not an easy life. You will need a number of identities to live as and travel under, burning any one of them as soon as they are compromised. You will be a citizen of the world; living no where for long.
True assassins are raised in hell. You must be flawless because your first mistake will be your last. You must have the heart of a line, the eyes of an eagle, the cunning of a fox and the nerve of a rhinocerous. Paramilitary training is not essential but helpful; being abandoned to the streets at an early age and making it on your own is another equally valid option. You must notice everything, forget nothing and care for no one. Then you must fall in love and marry some dumb broad and quit the game. That's what the books tell me anyway. |
