[ QUOTE ]
What is sweating? and how do I do it while keeping my clothes on? [/ QUOTE ] Sweating is "standing behind" a player while not playing, and they are playing, discussing the hand, generally after the hand is over. Online it is done via chat or maybe phone. There is some disagreement on whether discussing strategy during the hand is acceptible (clearly at most live games, the one-player-to-a-hand rule is enforced, but I am not aware of any popular online site that has specific T&C regarding this). |

Yeah but at the B&M everytime someone lays a horrendous beat on you, you can lay a horrendous fart on them. This is where B&M has one up on the internet. Plus the extra +EV you gain from implied odds of farting on your opponents has to be worth something. Your opponent may tilt away his entire stack just because you farted on him.
Some of the slobs at our local casino actually play in their underwear. Ripped stained white t-shirts and ass-crack showing parachute-style white underwear is the norm. Go get some more free chips and cookies, guys. Good thing George Foreman came up with a clothing line for fatasses. Technically, you could play internet poker on the toilet, in the nude, on the roof, on the beach, at the internet cafe, in the desert... I'm only 20 minutes from my B&M (no this doesnt mean I have to take a crap in 20 minutes), so the commute isnt bad. The games are good but the rake is bad. Some guys say internet rake is cheaper, but if you're multitabling like crazy, it really isnt that much cheaper. I dont know about rakeback, but, if you're paying $3 max on 4-8 tables at twice as many hands per hour you actually end up paying more rake than you do live playing one table at higher stakes. Of course, you may need a bigger roll... Well I'm off to go play with the old ladies, the retirees, the pimps, the maniacs, the fatsos, the alcoholics, and the arabs at Motor City. If you ever play there give me a shout. -J |

Yeh, as long as your play isn't affected, your win rate per table is multiplied by the number of tables you're playing as well as the rake per table.

The only thing down fall I found so far is the bankroll issue I am only rolled for 6/12 live. But is growing quick as the games are way softer than .50/1.00 online. The 8/16 and 10/20 games are softer as well at my local casino. |
