last advice and then i'm done.

He threebet you on the flop and checkraised you on the turn. You have no reads, and you dismiss the threebet as something you aren't worried about because they are small bets.

If you routinely go through your poker day ignoring threebets and checkraises from donkeys (yes he's a donkey because of the size of the bets) you are going to hemorrhage money by playing back at them like this. Regardless of what he actually had on this hand, Ace-rag is a TINY portion of the range. T9, A9, AT, 99, TT, AK make up the VAST majority of his range. After the turn play, T9 is no longer in the range.

LOL

Ace/rag hardly ever 3bets this flop. Your up against 99, TT, A9, AT, or AK. My guess is A9.

Once I call the check-raise, we're both committed to the hand

haha^^ Look at stacksizes and your massive overbet push

What's with the snide expressions (you're the second one to do this)? Look at the villain's stack; he had 40% of it in the middle after the turn check-raise. Like I told djoyce (please see above), I'm not as fearful of the flop min-bets & raises as others. Perhaps the flop min-bet/min-3-bet is a different story.

Not necessarily. Let's just say I can picture someone playing Ace-rag this way at 50 NL (perhaps this is wishful thinking on my part).

I think everyone has made it quite clear that they believe I'm crushed. I also suspected I may have pushed this too hard, hence the reason for posting it. I appreciate all of the responses.

FWIW, the villain flipped over AK, I sucked out goot on the river, and we split the pot.

I apologize for being snide , but donks bet small when they have big hands, and they dont bet when they dont. obviously thats a big generalization tat doesn't always ring true, but a 3bet, with bets of any size, is a big hand.

I can believe donk isn't raising in the BB with AK... and cute, adorable things like this are why I love donks, especially when they min3bet the flop and let me get away cheap

No worries; I appreciate your commentary and the cool "snidely" pics! The last thing I want is to come off as being thin-skinned, as I've also provided criticisms on other threads. I always try to elaborate as much as possible so it doesn't look like I'm dogging them.

Thanks again!

I frequently check AK in the blinds. It's a drawing hand, i'm OOP, and if I hit, I can smash monkeys like OP because they don't expect it.
