Fact of the matter, he's won a lot (3 titles), which is more than any other "superstar" currently playing and tied with Dunc and Shack.

I agree, but I also think Kobe had a bigger part of the Laker championships than Devean George did.

hornacek,

did you watch the suns/lakers series? did you watch game 7? did you watch the second half? kobe revealed himself a headcase of nearly artest proportions. how can rate him so high when he sabotaged his team in the most important minutes of the season?

[/ QUOTE ]

maybe because he has no one on his team and if kobe is not on that team they go 25-57?

seriously.

If I were to take anyone to build my team around TODAY!, here's how it would go:

1. Lebron James
2. Dwayne Wade
3. Kobe Bryant
4. Steve Nash
5. Dirk Nowitzki

Let's face it, Duncan and Shaq have 2-3 years left in their careers (5 years max). And while they are still good, they are nowhere near the dominant force that they were 5 years ago.

Duncan can still hoop.

Oh, and isn't Duncan one year younger than Nash...?

Two years!! Ok, I'm wrong. I always envision Duncan as being old because he's been at the top of the game for so long and he's starting to wane..

I guess it's close between Nash//Duncan.

Did YOU watch game 7?? Do you realize Kobe scored 23 in the first half and the lakers were still down by 15? If he would have jacked it like that in the second half they still would have lost by 30. He realized that taking a ton of shots wasn't getting it done, so he had to try something else. Kobe did not intentionally sabotage the game. How do you sabotage a game when you are already down by over 20 points? That is the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard.
