I voted no because the name always makes me think of vienna sausages. I hate those things.

lol @ wienerschnitzel

?? vienna sausage has as much to do with wienerschnitzel as LA does with Anaheim. At least Anaheim has a hockey team!

If you like to watch old buildings, go there. If not, go somewhere else.

Vienna is okay, I'd pass it up and hit Salzburg instead.

Vienna is INCREDIBLE but only if your interests go beyond getting drunk/getting laid. Don't really know whether it's any good for that.

I went to Vienna for the sole purpose of seeing the Spanish Riding School.

I went to a Lippinzaner horse practice. It was very boring.

Vienna is pretty nice, but I liked Budapest and Prague, where I stopped on the same trip, a lot more. Both struck me as far more unique, at least as compared to cities I had visited before.

I only went to a practice. Performances at the time were way out of my budget. I enjoyed the practice demonstration very much, but then I have a background of having worked with horses. I don't know if I could say it was worth the trip. I found the city disappointing.

Vienna is neither here or there.

To those who love history and arcitecture, museams, opera, etc,it would be a nice destination.
