Re: Question Regarding Sexual Predators/Entrapment
There was an episode of law and order SVU last night dealing with a similar topic and they basically at one point tricked a pedophile into meeting up with them...
On another note, has anyone heard anything about shaq becomign a deputy sheriff own in Miami and he targets sexual predators on the internet haha |

Re: Question Regarding Sexual Predators/Entrapment
For it to be entrapment the cops have to make you do something that you weren't going to do on your own.

Even if it is I dont care. [/ QUOTE ] This is awful. If police induce a person who wouldn't normally commit a crime to do so, and you see nothing wrong with that, then you should re-consider. |

Re: Question Regarding Sexual Predators/Entrapment
I'd like to be one of the FBI agents who pretends to be a naive, lusty 13 year old girl, I think I'd be really good at that.

Re: Question Regarding Sexual Predators/Entrapment
Sad thing is that the television shows that follow these stories will follow up on the people that have already been busted on national television and they are doing the same stuff-conversing and making plans to meet up with minors.

My point is that I bet the cops meet up with more potential sexual predators than young girls who talk to the preadators do. My thinking is that the police do things to speed things up rather than just wait for the guy to ask to meet up. |

Just talk real dirty, then be like "I want to meet to and suck the cum out of your dick until I can't swallow anymore". I'm guessing that the predators won't even be thinking about getting busted by the police. Alternatively, what if you were at a traffic light when a beautiful girl of age came up to you and told you the same thing, then was like, "I'll do it for $20". She ends up being an undercover cop, and you're in jail. (assuming you accept) I'm yelling entrapment. |

Re: Question Regarding Sexual Predators/Entrapment
With cops, no.
What I've always wondered about is the legality of investigative TV reporters doing it. When Dateline airs those specials where they bust a bunch of pedophiles, I've always wondered the legality behind airing that footage. I asked this question once before here and everyone wanted to know why I was defending a pedophile. I, of course, am not defending them at all, and think they deserve severe puishment. I just want to know how this stuff gets legally aired on TV. |
