You can find a decent hotel in the West Atlantic City, Egg Harbor Township, Pleasantville, or Absecon. There are brand chains in all of these towns, and all are within a 10-15 minute drive of the casinos. Try Days Inn, Choice Hotels (quality hotels, claridge, etc), holiday inn in these areas. All are decent and not terribly priced, though I am sure new years eve prices will be higher.
