Re: KQ facing riv c/r from tag bb
[ QUOTE ]
whoever said villain is a solid 2p2 type must be kidding villains line is terrible, and if he indeed has a monster he got lucky to cooler someone else with top two pair i like the river value bet, as well as the check on the turn this is an easy call getting 3:1 against a bizarre line, and i would expect to see another kq as well as a strangely played q10 here [/ QUOTE ] Look at his stats: 14/10/3.8 not many fish got those stats, therefore i think he could have air here quite a lot. I never said he got a monster. Why is villains line terrible? Hero could be bluffing quite often here. |

Re: KQ facing riv c/r from tag bb
Fold. He probably has you on a Queen or air and thinks you're betting the river more often than you're calling when the King falls.
Also, TAGs don't bluff like this at 25NL, imo. His line looks way too weird, and the only bluffing hands he could have are made hands. |

fold, he has a 7 too often. [/ QUOTE ] What 7 would take that line? Look at his stats, he's not an idiot. |

Re: KQ facing riv c/r from tag bb
hero's line looks very suspicious. river checkraises with no history are often an attempt to pick up the pot vs a weak hand while holding something with no showdown value.

Re: KQ facing riv c/r from tag bb
he def has showdown value here. That's what i'm banking on, that he won't turn a hand with showdown value into a bluff. The best you can hope for is a split. He could play 67s/87s/TT like this. It is a dry board so he is more likely to slow play.
Spurious, soooo unlikely he's floating given it's 3-way |

[/ QUOTE ] He's prolly not got us on a Q after the turn check behind. My best guess is he's got any 7, TT or another KQ and he's hoping to get paid by my AK. I know that's very specific, but what does he call that flop with? I guess I could see him calling to donk-steal turn or some [censored], maybe. FWIW, he raised w/o much of a pause. If he had thought through the river c/r bluff trying to push me off top two or AK, then he'll be moving up in stakes any second now. One thing nobody has said is that my river bet was poor. Could be a hindsight thing, but it seems bad now. I guess he could call w/ AK, but that's about it and I'll discount that because he didn't 3bet preflop. Does checking turn mean I have to bet river? |
