It seems petty when one is talking about a single example, but once deals are being discussed and made between readers it could open up cans of worms if things go wrong; if people don't get paid; if people are scammed. It might be argued that Twoplustwo would be giving tacit agreement to policing such deals if they became commonplace.

I should add that this is my opinion based on my personal interpretation of the ethos of Twoplustwo. I don't remember a particular discussion about this in the mods' forum, but if I am wrong I would assume that an Administrator will come in to correct me.
