Overlimping is fine if there isnt any LAG tards behind you who will raise a lot.

Brass. If you call that turn you call that river. Nothing has changed and he 3-barrels his bluffs. If you dont think he semibluffs the flop into 4 you should just muck teh turn

[/ QUOTE ]

This is A rag the majority of the time. I am not sure its a +EV call down from the turn. Not that I can fold vs an idiot.

cause if you're going to pay 2 bets, and you're probably behind anyway, you might as well give it a shot at folding a better hand. that ace is all yours, baby. it has to be better than your chance at having your better hand folded.

When he continues to bet the ace he either has a draw, nothing or a really big hand (occasionally he has a marginal hand, but most check when scare cards come.) None of these hands are folding to a raise. If he bet the turn with a draw, he will probably bet the river as well.

this guy could easily be me and I've just been passively defending my bb and overlimping more than usual in the last 80 hands.

Raise/folding 98 here against me is really dumb.

until i found 2p2 i didn't know that you were allowed to bet/fold in limit hold'em.

That's an understatement. I didn't know people would bet/fold in poker. I mean I knew it because people had bet and folded to my raises before. But that's because "they were bluffing!"
