Thanks for your comments. I think calling on the river was better, but I definitely like the check-raise river bluff. I just have to learn to select my spots more precisely.

It turned out villain had [Kd Tc 5h Qh] and took down a nice pot. He was just half pot betting the nuts as usual, and I got served (you say that in english?).

I think most players fold a set or aces up here, including many good players. Depends just how aggro he thinks you are or if he figures you are frustrated.
