This post is fundamentally flawed because the OP fails to give experience any value when in fact is the most supreme factor.

Girls want someone who is interesting, mysterious, and challenging, without being a complete flake and weirdo. I have met cute girls that fawned all over me initially without much reciprocation, and it was kind of a turn-off. Women are the exact same way if not more so, because they have more of a protective barrier around new men.

The bottom line is they just want to have a good time with you, and while you do sometimes have to put on a show for them, the experience usually is fun and is an easy way to escalate things with a woman. Don't be afraid of rejection and treat each woman initially as role playing practice for the next girl you're going to meet.

My thoughts are inspired by Jared Diamond's discussion of sexual selection in his book, The Third Chimpanzee. The concept is called stottering. It's supposedly the reason that men use drugs, smoke, etc. Jared doesn't actually apply the concept the way I do, and I have no proof that it should be applied that way. Nonetheless, it's an idea that I've been playing around with in my head, and I wanted to share it with others.

I think it works like this:

Women need a sign from men that the man has value. However, this sign has to be such that it cannot be faked. The only way to design that sign is to make it so that a man would lose more than he would gain by faking it.

So what's the sign?
It's lack of interest.

You see, the man has so many favorable qualities that he doesn't have to be nice to girls or be eager to hook up with them.

Conversely, when a guy tries very hard, it has to seem suspicious to the girl.

Blarg, that was an amazing post. I wish OP (and those just like him) would pay it the attention it deserves, but sadly they probably won't.

Nevertheless, your post has gone into my text file of "awesome quotes" that I find... which is probably a good topic for another thread. I know that doesn't mean much to you, but just wanted to let you know I thought it was very well written and profound.
