Something similar to someone I know. He buy in in a 2500$' tourney ( which is the next day ) & leaves the casino. He shows up the next day, & they ask his I.D. , & for some reason, the donot accept his Quebec' driving'licens !

After a long argument with the supervisor, they let him pass, but he almost lost the 2500$ he has bought-in !

elliot - my out of state paper ID is just as valid as anybody's in state hard ID. i understand why it wasn't accepted, but i think they probably could have either checked it better and concluded it was real or found some other way to verify my age; they seemed unwilling to take the extra step and instead just figured "hey it's paper, it'd be more work to find out if this is real or not so let's just not deal with it."

as for the travelling virus show... if that kind of humor is your thing, you will love it. it was absolutely hilarious. some of the improv jokes were the funniest i've ever seen. well worth the price of admission which is almost 150 dollars (though for me it was 0...)

Wow, $150 for one ticket? Not that it matters, I'm near Dallas. Don't have to worry about going to see the boys any time soon!

no, it really isnt.

99.999% of american casinos (especially non-indian ones) will have specific rules SPELLED OUT on what is an acceptable form of out-of-state id, and temporary paper ones being disallowed will be clear as day.

is it really their responsibility to know what an out of state temp license with absolutely zero security features should look like?

if you had any kind of responsibility you would have brought a valid passport, instead of acting like you have somehow been slighted.

lol, I'd say considering that its part of their job to check ID's, yes, it's their responsibility. A passport for a casino? It doesn't have a flippin' national border.

Did they take your money? Or give it back to you and ask you to leave?
