Re: FTP owes me $5,000, still waiting...
glad i'm not the only one waiting
$4,000 requested on January 24, 2007 on the 15th of March they said: Rather than subject our players to further delays, some checks were sent via USPS Priority Mail, which have been arriving within 3-5 business days. Rest assured this issue is temporary and should be resolved soon. At this time, all checks approved on or before March 6th, 2007 have been processed and sent out. Those should arrive within 3 to 5 business days. Checks approved after March 6th, 2007 are being processed according to our regular schedule with the exception that some checks that were requested as overnight delivery were sent via USPS Priority Mail as mentioned above. I'm gonna start getting mad soon and doing something about it. FTPSean said he'd look into it, and he thought, but wasn't sure, they were sending me a new check, but I don't know what's going on. I keep asking them to cancel the old check and send a new check, but they never reply to that request directly with a "yes" or "no." Anyway, I really like FTP overall, but this is really starting to get my blood boiling. If they could explain clearly what it going on, I'd be ok. But their e-mails are so vague, it's frustrating. |

[/ QUOTE ] It's getting my blood boiling as well. This is the worst customer service experience I have ever had with a poker site! Actually, this is the worst customer service experience I have had--period! On January 24, 2007, I requested a check for over $5,000. I have still not yet received it! FTP's responses to me have been nothing less than comical--stating something different every time. Each email, they claim it was sent a different time. In one of their most recent emails, they claimed it was sent on Friday, March 6, 2007. Friday, eh? March 6th is not a Friday. Maybe they are using an outdated calendar--heck I don't know. They then said it would arrive in 3-5 business days, and would arrive no later than March 19. Who in the heck is doing their math at FTP? Five business days after March 6 is March 13, not March 19! FTP has some serious problems and they have extremely poor customer service. In any event, it is now March 22, and still no check!!! The longer this goes on, the worse this gets, and the madder I become. |

This is why a regulation agency and oversite needs to be in place. These sites can close your account/freeze accounts/delay payment etc and for the most part they are the judge and jury.

[/ QUOTE ] To be fair to the poker sites, the insane delays have been directly caused by the oversight of the US government. And by oversight I mean screwing us over, and by US government I mean asshats. |

Re: FTP owes me $5,000, still waiting...
i run a buisness online and these emails are classic examples of stalling. while i dont think ftp is stalling on purpose or to mess with you, it is stalling none the less. "tracers, claims, inquirys", etc are all terms to use so they can buy more time for whatever reason.
i think they are very backed up and are trying to buy time. sometimes i use these tactics if a customer is very impatient or unreasonable, however i dont think the OP is either of those things. I think FTP just uses these tactics for everyone. another reason why Stars is the Lebec Fin of online poker and FTP is Arbys. |

Re: FTP owes me $5,000, still waiting...
I was coming on here to make a post asking how the checks from Full Tilt were going.
I guess I don't need to waste the space of another thread Hopefully they will get their act together soon. I haven't even heard back from support yet. Not even a response. |
