Hand 2... c/r on riv to $165 or somethin a little smaller for more value from hands that you beat instead of 8's with better kickers or somethin...
hand 1- i mite minraise riv and fold to shove. He's shown such MAJOR strength on turn and riv... flatcalling here isn't bad sinec he's either got you crushed or has air IMO... like straight on turn or set. Minraising might be a bit -EV since he might shove where ur in a rele tough spot. On a side note, you get to c his hand to c his preflop calling range and how he'll play after preflop raiser is passive on flop in position and stuff, and how often he's willing to double barrel a PSB OOP... I like a call

i like a minraise or call on hand 1, his bet size is super strong and anything more is pushing it imo

Hand 1 is closer to a call than the second, fwiw. Hand 2 is a definite raise, hand 1 I probably raise as well but fold to a push.

i don't like the raise in hand 1 unless villain has some reason to think you're a super calling station and bet the crap out of marginal hands. that bet is too strong and most 5's are fh's or have u outkicked

Raise 2nd unless you're jennifer tilly. If you put money in until river with first hand you have to be willing to at least minraise when you hit trips, otherwise toss it sooner.

hey, if both are vs same villain, what did he have in hand 2? I think it helps a lot with hand 1.
