If you think he is capable of folding those hands which he probably is, then go for the c/r and take down his c-bet.

Raising or folding preflop are both preferable alternatives to flat-calling, IMO. Playing an easily dominated hand 1)out of position, 2) against a tight player and 3) without the initiative, is bad.
Postflop I like C/R pot or C/F. A 9 or ace is liable to freeze the action, so the implied odds might not be that great. |

we have the best equity vs his range atm (w/ c/c and b/c we cant call any reasonable turn bet unless we hit) + best fold equity (our line looks super strong) + villain is likely capable of laying down some good 1pair hands = easy $$$$. edit: [ QUOTE ] Postflop I like C/R pot or C/F.
