Does this include the penalty of some villain having at least 1 overcard to your pair [/ QUOTE ] ...nope, just how often the flop brings an overcard, knowing only our own. |

For this kind of info, "Weighing the odds" by King Yao is a good book. Ian [/ QUOTE ] Second! I got that and the 52 Favorite Hands - good stuff in both. |

probably not where you were going, but i always found these numbers interesting: AA - 0% KK - 22.6% QQ - 41.4% JJ - 57.0% TT - 69.5% 99 - 79.3% 88 - 86.7% 77 - 92.1% 66 - 96.0% 55 - 98.1% ...the chance your paired hand will face overs on the flop. [/ QUOTE ] I like to go with these stats with paired hands. Its the chance that you will face on overcard and you not hitting your set. KK - 11.6% QQ - 31.1% JJ - 46.9% TT - 59.6% 99 - 69.3% 88 - 76.5% 77 - 81.6% 66 - 85% 55 - 86.9% 44 - 87.9% 33 - 88.2% 22 - 88.2% |
