Betting 90 is the way to go? What about betting 60, is that bad? Or a check/raise? Just wondering about why you say bet 90

90 because we are making the pot odds 2:1. The board is drawy and we want to take away the odds. If villain is holding anything that fits the board, he's not folding, and we can't give up just yet with our two pair. The only thing we can do is take away his pot odds and hope that he either 1. Folds or 2. Calls And Doesn't Catch Any Scare Cards.

If he's playing top 80%, he's definitely capable of somehow connecting to the flop.

We also have to keep an eye on BB because he's also capable of having something, however, his hand is more random so he's not a threat just yet.

Post the Turn?

Ok, a leak in my game then (as the preflop call?) I decided to bet 60 to underrepresent my hand and induce a raise.. But what do I do on the turn?

I doubt he was going to fold even if you put in a bet of 90, so we'll just assume he's calling either way. The bet of 60 gives him pot odds of 2.5:1 so it's not all that bad.

We definitely hate this J on the turn. However, our read is that he is stupidly loose and could be holding a wide range of hands.

There are a couple things you could do here:

1. Bet 150-175 and see what he does.
2. Check/call if he bets the pot or less.
3. Check/Fold if he raises some stupid amount.

I'm weighing between betting out here to see what he does and check/calling a bluff. If we bet and then he calls, then I might just check/call the river unimproved. If we hit a T or 8 on the river, we're definitely going to bet again.

I hate to get pushed off the hand if we check and then he pushes like an idiot.

This is where I need some other opinions.

I fold/call PF about 75%/25%, but it's okay to limp here vs this villain IMO.

On the flop i bet between 2/3 and 1/1 pot, and to bet only 60 is not a big mistake, but you want to build the pot a bit more with deep stack, so 90 sounds better.

On the turn it's getting interesting. You can't just put him on a better hand, though it is very possible he has a better hand. Also, given that he limped in MP, and is bad, very many of his possible hands beat you now. I'd bet 150, and fold to anything but a miniraise, cause I think we have good implied odds if we fill up(However, we might also have reverse implied odds working, but since you describe villain as bad, he prob. stacks off with a stragiht here.)

I decided to go to check/call mode unless he overbets like hell. So I checked the turn. It went check/check. What on this nice river?

If he's just checking this turn, it's most likely that he doesn't have much, maybe a smaller PP, or slowplaying a straight.

I'd go to 175 or so. We have to try and think about what amount he'll call with. Sometimes that amount is 0. But I'd go about 150-175 and hope he calls. If he pushes, I instacall.

I decided to bet flop and hope for a crying call from a weird hand, but I got action! What now?

Big shove. Do you think he calls with a lone 9? What else calls that you beat?
