thats what i thought last week, but now i think there is a good chance they are unable to liquify enough money to settle the US accounts. i wouldn't be surpirsed if US peer-to-peer is halted (or maybe even euro & canadian accounts get frozen too) if too much money starts leaving.

if i was euro or candian account holder i would remove all my money and never look back for two reasons: just to make sure its safe and to protest what is happening in the US

The OP (or one of the first replies) claimed it would be haulted within 3 hours, yet people have been reporting past the "due date" that it's still working. I hope someone can tell me tomorrow if this thread has any merit.

you are misunderstanding. people are still able to withdrawal their atm account, but they are unable to transfer from their main account to their atm account.

no we don't, and some people are having success.

problem is, the source for this "rumor" is the officail Neteller update faq page on the neteller site. So, it's really not unreasonable for people to be worried about neteller cards not working when NETELLER has announced they won't work.

I don't know if this is of any interest, but I can confirm that for Europeans, it is bussiness as usual. I can transfer to my debit card and withdraw from an ATM machine 15 minutes later.

Any speculation as to whether or not waiting for a check is 'wise' or not? I'm so confused.

I'm trying to withdraw a large sum and I'd rather not have it 'trapped' in my debit account.
