yeah, um, about punching this thing, well, good luck. wow.

That was a tame dog held as a pet (obviously since it wasn't attacking it's owners) that for some reason didn't like this guy - the dog was making no attempt to kill him. Take a dog bread for fighting and instead of being trained all his life to respect humans, train him to attack - this is a whole new ballgame.

Wow - just did some google imaging - apparently my cousin's pit bull is a pretty spectacular specimen. All of the ones I see there look either very skinny or fat and out of shape in comparison. This is likely due to his fighting background - I doubt they pick the cute and cuddly pit bulls for that kinda stuff.

Uhm fighting background? all pitbulls bred to fight should be shot on the spot, no trial no mercy.

I think you overestimate most people's ability to punch really, really hard.

[/ QUOTE ]

punching isn't exactly what i had in mind

anyway, apparantly pit bulls are 7:1 favorites against our guy, but they have no chance when faced with a 52 year old man

"Tommy was forced to choke the pit bull to death with his own hands to cease the attack."

I'd like to note that the "choke it/crush it's throat while it bites you" strategy was first mentioned by me.

You are all nuts. The tale of the tape gives the human a 65" height advantage, a 36" leg/arm reach advantage and a pretty huge brain advantage. Human is clearly a favorite here.
