Re: 200NL 6max Combo Draw bet/3bet?
We don't need a plan for the turn. We just make it up as we go along.

Re: 200NL 6max Combo Draw bet/3bet?
no, we need a decent estimation about how much value our hand will have on future streets. Taking every line into consideration is wasting brain capacity.

[/ QUOTE ] Hero is first to act on the turn. Having an idea how to extract with a draw OOP is key to playing the draw OOP. [/ QUOTE ] How many times do we have to say this? you are getting greater than the direct odds we need to draw What this means, is that even if you never extract, you win $$$$. Now, if villain's have as strong a hand as we think they have (which is why we are calling, see?), extracting is not a problem. Even better, you can get away from being stacked here. Check a heart turn, UTG bets, BTN folds, easy push. Check a heart turn, UTG bets, BTN raises, easy fold. Check a heart turn, UTG checks, BTN bets, probably a fold, read-dependent. Check a heart turn, everyone checks: easy river bet. See, look at that, the beginnings of a plan. I could go in to my plan on how to play blank turns, 9 turns, 8 turns, etc, too, but I won't. Why not? To borrow Jay's analogy, for the same reason I won't go into my "plan" when I raise preflop with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on the button and both blinds call: BECAUSE IT [censored] DEPENDS. On a LOT of [censored]. TOO MUCH for one post. PLAY POKER. |
