But you can't say definitively. It's funny how half of the gun control advocates seem to believe that guns are so readily available to criminals and yet you think that it would be so incredibely difficult to obtain one. Even if he doesn't go to a drug dealer, there are other means to get them that don't require that he subject himself to a background check. Remember, 40% of criminals get their guns from family or friends. Background checks don't do anything for straw men purchases. And supposedly, Seung Cho (as have other school shooters) had been planning this for a few months. If someone is determined to kill people in our society, they can do so. This is inherent in the "free-ness" of our society.

My position isn't that anyone intending to commit a crime with a gun is going to go to a drug dealer. My position is that the vast, vast majority will get their gun in a way that is either not stopped by gun control regulations or is illegal in the first place.
