It was already out there, so I figured I'd beat em to it. I'm sure the other players at the table were pissed when I sat out due to the chat....haha

Once I sat down immediately got AQs 3 handed and capped. Flopped the straight, and the board paired and I lost. One guy had AA other had QQ I was like WTF VARIANCE.

I came home from the pub boozed up one night and fired up what I thought was a 2/4 six-handed HE game. I was amazed at the cards I was getting, and infuriated that they weren't holding up. To make matters worse I kept typing comments in the chat box: "WTF. . . dude, this run of cards is sick. . holy [censored] I lost to another overpair, is this table rigged or what. . ." etc. It took me half an hour and at least $100 to realize what was being played (I didn't even know about royal HE, or that UB offered it). I'm sure I made many a buddy list that day.

bnortho,

As soon as I realized what was going on, my immediate thought was how easy it could have gone the other way. I mean, I truly had no idea I was playing Royal, until I looked at the chat box and was being called a retard.

hahaha, yeah, I think the other players were kinda going along with it... I was like "WTF? Another boat?" or "Quads again" etc.

I bet this is pretty common and I'm sure you could hold a sick winrate at this game just by waiting for unsuspecting victims to drop in. I mean in any 6max game, I'm raising AT from like anyposition, but that's like the equivalent of 72o.

I'm sure the other players were getting a big kick out of it though.

bn,

I'm convinced the only way to win at royal is to go in totally ignorant of the game!

I haven't played UB in a while, and just wanted to take advantage of the 100% bonus and multi-table some 3-6.
I'm thinking, "wow didn't UB used to be real tight? Look at all this action!"
