villain (28/15/2) raises in MP
folded to me on button with AKo, i raise folded to villain who caps flop - A33 (rainbow) villain bets, i call(?) turn - 2 (no 2flush) villain checks, hero... which line is better? bet right now or check behind to induce a river bet by his TT+, lower ace, AK (what other range do you put him on)? i personally like checking, but id like to hear others opinions. |

Bet. He doesn't really ever fold here, he just wants to avoid getting raised.

why would you check? do you dislike money? you are getting called down close to 100% of the time by underpairs.

hmm, in this instance he did actually fold after i bet. i didnt have a read on him that he was kind of goofy, he seemed solid. he probably had a similar read on me and figured since i called the flop i had to have at least a pair. i think he got a little crazy preflop with JT or something like that.
the hand made me confused, thats why i posted it. but thinking back betting is the thing to do, since most of the time he will definately not fold. |

I personally like raising the flop. Even tags will call all the way with underpairs there. Don't miss value.

Yeah I think you have to bet here. He probably won't fold a big pair anyway, so you have a chance to get him to put a couple of bet in.
