On my external drive I have 30G of movies, 16G of tv shows, 10G of music, and ~50G of porn. It sounds like a lot, but a dvd is 4.5G, so they take up a lot of space.

yeah, this stuff takes up a lot of space. every TV show I record takes up a few gigs, and that is just SD.
