Default Is this totally braindead?

BB is a TAG whom I've played many hands against. He likes to defend his BB, and usually quite aggressively.

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (6 max, 3 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

Preflop: Hero is Button with 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
Hero raises, SB calls, BB calls.

Flop: (6 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
SB checks, BB checks, Hero bets, SB folds, BB raises, Hero calls.

Turn: (5 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)

Other than the fact that he's aggressive, is there any reason to believe that he dopesn't have a Q, 5, or a low pair?

How much are you willing to risk based on his assumed aggressive bluff?

Personally I probably would have called on the turn. According to pokercalc.com you win 40% of the time. Since you're heads up, and bet you make means you're contributing 50% to the pot, mpore than your chance to win.

While it's still worth calling, it's not profitable to raise unless you think there is at least a 10% chance he's bluffing.

I'm a newbie, so perhaps this analysis is incorrect.

Anyone?

It isn't so much that I think he's on a total bluff, but that there's at least some chance he might fold a small PP.

Also, it was my intention to check behind the river, so this is also a free showdown raise.

It's a good move to use against agressive defenders as an alternative to 3-betting the flop.
I like it a bit less here b/c if he doesn't have Q or 5 then it is very possible that he C-Raises with a flush draw and the turn card is not the best. Also 22 is a hand that can be outdrawn very easily.
It comes down to reads and if you feel you had to play back and he is capable of folding then it is fine.

To me, this is burning money without some sort of back up draw (like holding a heart).
