Spend more time working on your game and less time playing hands. You will make more money in the long term.

I need to get into the $500 bracket to break even from my ticket gathering adventure.

I run very very bad.

So the guy down $500 for the promo is telling the guy up $250 over 23000 hands in 4 days to work on his game. Seriously though, I do work on my game in between promos!

[/ QUOTE ]

I'm down on my ticket collection playing. I'm up on my normal playing. And since I am playing ticket collection at 1/2 and normal at 15/30, I think I'm alright.

You just reowned him.

BTW, I didn't play another session after my last post, and I am now going to pray that 734 is enough for $1000.

I think 734 should be plenty. I am quitting too with a total 776 tickets. If anybody is interested, here is a graph of my play.

I didn't really think I would make money getting tickets going into this so I'm happy. Obviously there is room for improvement especially seeing how TheProbst, DonkBluffer, and others have done. Good luck to those of you still playing and hopefully we all get our $1000.

i have honestly seen the sickest play over the past 4 days that i have ever seen in my entire life. if one more guy calls me down with 55 on AKQ3 and catches a 5 on the river beating my AK i am going to cry. its absolutely insane how many times i've gotten rivered.

after playing over 20,000 hands of 10/20 6max with some 10 handed thrown in i'm down about 75 big bets. i have cleared the accelerator bonus twice over though which erases that ( i'm still playing now so there is hope ).

its just so disheartening to play 20,000 hands and have accomplished nothing but a small loss. i think i'm going back to 5/10.

I think I have enough tickets to lock-up Top 75, so I guess ill hang up my shoes.

PS: I averaged 5.8 tickets per 100 hands at 1/2

Adam, it sucks, but this isn't the BBV forum. Your 75 BB loss over 20k hands is NOTHING compared to the downswings many other players have. Furthermore, the beats you took aren't uncommon.

Sorry though.
