Does anyone have any experience with this game in very shorthanded situations (ideally mid-high stakes)? Is the variance simply prohibitive, even against very poor players, compared to other options like O/8 and LHE?

Short handed limit omaha hi is my favorite game. I find that I can control variance much more in this game than in any others.
