Default Spiking set on river, did I miss some bets?

BB is a tricky player, not very aggressive.

K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the hijack, folded to me, I raise, everyone folds to BB, BB calls

Flop is A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet, BB calls.

Turn is 7 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

BB checks, I check(?)

River is K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

BB checks, I bet, BB raises, I call (?)

His range on the river is so large I think you have to 3-bet here, and I wouldn't even feel bad if he caps.

To my surprise, the BB showed AA to take the pot.

Sure this time, but theres plenty of reasonable holdings he'll CR the river with here. Go for the 3 bet.

I also agree with betting the turn, and against this player (since hes not tricky) folding to what will probably be a turn raise (given what he had.)

I bet the turn too, you cant risk giving a free card to all those possible draws.
