You can win various sats on Stars like for the $160 Double Shootout or the $630 Sunday Main Event qualifier. When you win one, just unregister for the tourney you just qualified for. That's how you can accumulate W$(event dollars). Then you can buy in directly with the W$ thru Stars for some of the prelim events. The prelim events that you can buy in directly for are only the events that are going to be televised (advertising, obviously). ESPN has not released the broadcast schedule yet for this year so Stars doesn't know yet which events you can buy in directly for. Hope this helps.

Not PokerStars, but Prima rooms are offering satellites for the smaller buy-in tournaments (as well as Stud & Omaha).

They are also offering a tournament where 1 in 150 players wins buy-in to as many WSOP events as they can handle (ex HORSE)
