But since you obviously know all, I'm sorry to have wasted your precious time.

What?

I have no problems being told I'm wrong. ... I just asked a simple question. No reason for people to tell me that the forum is going to hell because of it.

1) I think tigerite and you may have very different definitions of the word recently. If you've played enough sng's to figure you're likely a winning player (at least 500) at each level at the 15's, 25's and 55's on the way up to the 109's then you've not just taken up sng's 'recently'.

2) A raise with AJo from MP seems like a limit move. In general, the conventional wisdom of the board is to play tighter than that early on.

3) His re-raise overbet might be saying 'I've got a monster and want to see if you will push your AK into it'. He's not raising that much to fold to a push from you, and he's not going to be raising that much to check-fold the flop- and if he c-bets the flop with a half-pot bet he's pretty well comitted to the hand at that point. Without a read that he's drunk and stupid I'd fold lots of hands way better than a mere AJo here.

Thanks. I agree with your 1st point, not trying to degenerate into some dumb flame war or anything. And apparently I'm still too loose in the first few stages, so I'll shore that up. Appreciate the response.
