I've recieved plenty of checks that arent made out to anyone. Rebate checks are the most obvious one

Party Poker really ought to have FedEx'ing you cash as a cashout option. Either that or diamonds.

it happened to me long ago, before i used other methods. the check got lost so i called or emailed them (forgot which) explained my sitution and they crededit my the money again

were they checks that were mailed to you from overseas and were for several thousand dollars?

Every rebate I've ever done (and I have done a boatload) requires you to fill out your name, address, ect so they can mail it to you. They have always come with my name printed on it.
