Default $27 Facing Raise with 88

No reads. What's the correct play?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t200 (6 handed) converter

UTG (t2890)
Hero (t3755)
CO (t2365)
Button (t1065)
SB (t2440)
BB (t985)

Preflop: Hero is MP with 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG raises to t1000, Hero ???

easy fold. he's UTG and probably never folding. You have 88, not JJ-QQ (tougher decisions)
