Default 1/2 LO8: nut low play on river from early pos

I had this hand today. I'd appreciate any thoughts on it. Especially my play on river

I would have check raised the turn. Here I would bet out on the river in case button fears the flush.

Seems like button has nut-low with you. I dont like 3-betting turn here. You are getting quartered. C/c river and take 1/4 of the pot.

In the games I play that raise on the flop means a set. Hardly anyone raises the flop with the low draw in the .50/1 games.

i wouldn't have 3-bet the turn. you are splitting this pot often with minimal (if any) outs to improve for high.

as is, since you have the A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in your hand, i doubt you will get raised on this river if you bet, but i would still worry about getting quartered.

Yes, I was afraid of getting quarted too. I checked the river and everyone checked behind me. I ended up with the low and took half the pot. I'm thinking I should have bet out and even hoped for a raise from the flush to get more money out of the third player in the hand.

That's why I recommended betting out on the river. I figured the button for a set and he would check the river because he fears the flush.

I think people are a little too afraid of getting quartered around here. It's not that big of a deal in limit.
