Looking at the pdf for the new years bonus (that was 7 days) winners, I see that the 25th place player had 762 tickets. This bonus is 5 days instead of 7, so multiplying that by 5/7 I get ~545. I already have 85 tickets in about 4,000 hands and will probably play another 2k or 3k tonight. I also was only able to play about 500 hands Friday due to other engagements.

Anyways here's the discussion question: Why do I find it hard to believe that only 545 tickets will make the top tier? I'm reading everyone's updates, and it seems like everyone has at least 100 already, if not close.

Thoughts on why the top tier might need more points this time?

Well ive gotta hit the sack, slept less then 4 hours yesterday on the partycruise and only managed to get in 2121 (double blackjack baby!!) hands now.. although I got 76 tickets for those.

tomorrow the grinding will begin

This occured to me as well.

It seems like 20 or more 2+2'ers will be getting 500+ tix.

Evidently those who are posting their updates in this thread make up a very large percentage of the players who are actually going for it in the first place.

Most if not all high volume players in this promotion post and read here. I currently have 245 tickets thru 8300 hands. At the 25NL I am playing very loose and just making it up with my post flop play against the donks. Its a rate of 2.95 tickets / 100 hands and should be sustainable. I wish I could go back to .50/1.00 limit, but oh well. I'm still wining about 5.0/100ptBB in nl25/50. Good luck to all and say hi if you play with LisaLisa2.

What's going to be the minimum tickets (roughly) to get anything? That's all I want... I got 31 right now.

I think I saw someone estimate like 80 to 90?

435 ticks. Gonna take a short break after an awful day. Will probably put in 1 or 2k more hands in later tonight.
