I am looking for a program to do this. Can anyone please recommend one? I don't mind paying, but obviously free is better.
Thanks! |

Star office saves their Word processor documents in PDF format . I beleive its free for Personal & School use. Commercial use must pay like 250 for the whole suite see www.openoffice.org
To use with Microsoft Word you need a PDF Distiller. Just Google "Word File To PDF" and you should get the info you need. |

Yea, openoffice would be a good app to do this assuming the word document shows up correctly in it (and most will). Else you just need a PDF printer driver which many companies offer although most are not free.

I had the full version of Adobe Acrobat for years, then built a new computer and couldn't find the old disk to move it. Adobe said it was so old I couldn't update it and wanted hundreds of dollars for a new one.
So I found this one, for a whole lot less. It will make PDF files from Word, or any other program that can print. It installs and works like a printer. www.docudesk.com |

Also, Adobe offers a free trial. The first 5 documents, I think. And you have to do it online, can't download. But it works if you only have a few to do.
