yea this thread is dumb. its just going to be like the other one from different perspectives. my favorite moment (the snow game) is the least favorite of so mnay people.

There is a big difference between a glorious victory and a glorious screw up though.

When your team wins through a glorious accomplishment, that is kind of a "great" sports moment.

Other times your team might be the benficiary of some boneheaded screw up or horrible officiating call, and while it makes you happy it's really not a "great" moment for your team imho.

I get what you're saying though, but if your teams greatest accomplishment is some guy on the other team calling timeout with none left or some really poorly written rule, that's kinda sad ya know.

This was the worst I ever felt watching a sporting event. I thought he'd never play in the NFL and it just seemed so cruel. I always feel good watching him play now.

point well taken. i guess most of us are kinda sadistic, though. more worse sports moments could include deaths or bad draft picks. i remember crying when reggie lewis died as a little kid. i guess thats my worst sports moment.

If Rivers doesn't pan out that could be worse than Leaf. At least they didn't force a proven commodity out to play Leaf.
