Default 2/4, 7-7 overpair check-raised on 3-3-6 flop

2/4 game, 8 handed.
Read on SB: 11/5/2.4, 400 datamined hands

I'm UTG+2 with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

2 folds
Hero limps
MP1 limps
MP2 limps
1 fold
SB completes
BB checks

Flop (5 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

SB checks
BB checks
Hero bets
2 folds
SB raises
BB folds
Hero calls

At the time, I thought, "he could make this c/r with a 6 as well as a 3," so I couldn't see folding.

Turn (4.5 BB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

SB bets

Shoot, maybe I'm still good?

Well, was this a WA/WB spot? Or could/should I have folded in here? In retrospect, it seems unlikely he'd keep firing with a 6, or overcard or flush draw bluffs. His line makes a lotta sense for a 3 or a bigger overpair, however.

WA/WB basically means that whomever is behind has <4 outs, and you don't know which you are.

Although we don't know exactly where we stand here, a good portion of villain's range is behind with 5+ outs. He may be doing this with 6x, or with two diamonds (and didn't change his plan when everyone folded).

In the interest of charging him while he's more likely to be behind, I'd like to 3-bet the flop, probably folding to further aggrssion and checking through a scare card on the river (A, 6, or diamond).

This is a c/r for elimination. This means he has a 6 a lot. Therefore, I call down. If he has a 3, take a note on it.

I don't think your line is terrible, probalby just as good as 3-betting the flop. He may c/r the turn when that 5 falls if he has a 6 and that sucks. I would have raised preflop. Otherwise, fine.

I think its fine. I was thinking raise turn for free showdown at first, but that 5 gives you an extra 3-4 outs, which means you can't fold to a threebet. I raise pf if the table is tight, limp if its loose.

If SB has a 3, he will often wait for the turn to checkraise.
His checkraise on the flop is for eliminating players, who could outdraw his pair of sixes. Your line is fine.
