AKo, fishy flop call?
Button is fairly loose and aggressive. He has cold called some of my EP raises with stuff like J9s, and other broadway holdings. I don't remember anything remarkable about the other two. I know they were looser players, but not ridiculously so. Is this an incredibly fishy flop call? I would not have called w/o the ace of clubs.

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
I think I'd fold. You have a decent set of draws there, but you don't want to end up paying 3-4 bets to see the turn card. Actually, I think it's not bad, but if the CO 3-bets, it's going to be majorly -EV for you.

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
it's a tough spot, no doubt.... it depends on how many more bets u think u can get out of them, what their range is, etc, etc.... a million things... I don't think it's neccesarily horrible if ur confident u can outplay them for more bets later on.. the problem comes when u hit an A or K and then get raised somewhere that u did not want to.... I'd probably lay it down more often then not, but I think a call is ok here vs certain opponents (probably ok vs these opponents)

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
well your pair outs are extremly tainted and if the CO has a large draw its probable you will be putting in more than two bets here, as you and the BB are 'trapped'. i still dont think its a horrible/fishy call though, albeit one i probably wouldnt make due to the fear of putting in 3 or 4 bets a % of the time.

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
Such an easy fold, for one bet it's callable but you're facing two bets, there's no certainty that it won't get reraised, and you're still out of position on the turn.

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
This is a pretty tough spot. I think folding or calling here is close depending if CO will reraise. If he's passive I'm willing to gamble, against a aggressive player I might fold. Our AK might be tainted but we do have a 3-4 outs to the nut straight. It's close so I think it depends if you feel CO will reraise the button.

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
Even your nut straight is not 100% clean, how likely is it that someone is betting a flush draw?
EDIT: or even a straight draw, which destroys your ace if someone's bet/raising KJo |

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
Definitely fold. Out of position, not closing the action, and possibly (probably) drawing to four (or even three) outs.

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
I would fold because id get myself in too much trouble when the Ace comes on the turn....

Re: AKo, fishy flop call?
I think this is a pretty standard call.
