Default 2/4 - semi-deep stacks

Villain has a bit over 700, I cover.

Villain raises to 12 UTG everyone folds, I call in the BB with 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].

Flop: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
I bet 20. Villain calls.

Turn: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
I check. Villain bets 40. I raise to 120. Villain calls.

River: 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
I bet 240. Villain calls.

I'm just curious if I misplayed this hand. I think that after he calls the turn check-raise villain always has either AA, KK, or AK. The board is so dry I can't see what else he has here. On the river I bet 240 intending to fold to a push.

Then check raising is terrible.

Just lead the turn. (That is if he only calls a turn c/r w/ those hands, otherwise i think you played it fine)

Good luck trying to fold that on the river. No way in hell I get away from it.

You played this well, although I think you need to bet the river for 300.

I thought about leading the turn, but checking gives him a chance to bluff now that the ace has hit the board. If I lead that turn I don't think there's anyway that a hand worse than AK calls my bet. I only narrowed his range down to AK/AA/KK after he called the checkraise. I thought about a lead, check/call, lead line, but wouldn't it cost me value against AK?

It is full ring and he's tight passive. I don't know what his stats are though. The only things he would be raising are JJ+ and big aces. I dont think there's anyway he's peeling on the flop with any ace that's missed here. That's why I narrowed his range down to that.
