16.5: Two 99 hands
VC, Big Blind is t300 (4 handed)
CO (t1750) Button (t12470) Hero (t1900) BB (t1880) Preflop: Hero is in SB with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] CO folds, Button raises to t600, Hero raises to t1900 (all-in), The button had raises a lot of hands like he should in this position. He was also a loose callingstation donk who bullied the table even when he did not have the massive lead (previously he had reraised 10bb;s all-in with 22 and doubled and after that called 12bb all-in with A7o). Too risky to go over the top when there are two other shortstacks? VC, Big Blind is t200 (5 handed) UTG (t7720) CO (t5300) Button (t1840) Hero (t1440) BB (t1500) Preflop: Hero is in SB with 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG folds, CO folds, Button raises to t1840 (all-in), Hero calls (all-in), The button had pushed all sorts of trash earlier (K7o, Q9o…) but still survived. Is this a good spot to take a stand? |
