Default sng question 9BB Q6o big blind....

So I'm in the BB and I have 9BB left, 6 handed, and there is a raise to contend with. I don't want to be left with just 9BBs, but how the heck do you handle a situation like this? dump and wait?

freak out

Your question leaves out a bunch of info that would help us answer you. Take a look at the FAQ, which gives posting guidelines. But in general having 9BB isn't anything to panic about.

I cant think of many situations where I'd be calling a raise or reraising here. I'm folding 99% of the time, but there are situations where other options are correct. We need more info to be sure.

What the other poster said, read the FAQ's and try to give more info when you post.

Thanks guys, I'll try an figure out what it is you need...

it was a 10+1 SNG at Party. The raise amount was a min raise. The blinds were T200/T400. The small blind called. I guess looking back, I can totally tell this was a clear fold.

Well we need all the other stacks as well. This really isn't a well posted hand, sorry. It's almost always a fold, you are worrying about having only 9 BB left? Oh boy, you won't get far thinking like that..

Fold here, even to a min-raise. Don't worry about having only 9BB. Your holding is too weak.

One of the bigger things I've learned since starting here on this forum is this:

Theres no panicing w/ 9 BBs.
There's no panicing w/ 6 BBs.
Maybe if you have like FOUR BBs you can panic.

But only then.
