Default Quick pre flop question

Party 5/10. 2/5 blind structure. EP tag open raises an unknown cold calls OTB and I have 44 in the SB. Getting 3:1 and some change is this worth playing?

I don't know if it's right, but I know this is something that I typically do - especially if the BB is loose. I figure the implied odds should more than make up for it if I flop my set.

Easy fold: your position sucks, your hand sucks, your odds suck, your opposition sucks (they play good and they likely have good hands).

I call in a 1/2 structure but not 1/3. I'd tend to call here - especially if the BB or coldcaller is very loose.
