Re: Bankroll for PLO cash games
I have revised my estimate over the past few weeks and have decided that 542.79 is truly the optimal number.

Re: Bankroll for PLO cash games
Can anyone give a serious response with - if not guidelines based on limits or style of play - their own personal Bankroll/BI ratio?
I jumped in to 1/2 w/ 45 BI's and after running 4.5BI under expectation (and -4BI actual) after 3k hands I'm feeling insecure. |

Re: Bankroll for PLO cash games
You don't say whether you play 6max, FR or HU. There are a lot of other considerations as well including winrate, standard deviation and how often you tilt.
Personally, I play almost 100% 6max these days and have a very solid WR but also a pretty high standard deviation. For me to be comfortable I need pretty close to 100 buy-ins to play my most winning style. At full-ring, especially on really loose passive sites, I am very comfortable with 20 buy-ins. |

30 is good if you are a winner and able to move down. If you are a looser 3000bis should learn you the game.

Re: Bankroll for PLO cash games
As a solid winner i wouldn't feel secure without a hundred buy-ins for what i considered my main game.
