5/10 against flop check raise by pfr
Villain is PwnedRolledEtc, good very aggro TAG reg, 22/18/5 with 80% cbet.
On the flop, what kind of hand do you think is most likely for villain between big hand, draw (I wouldn't expect this line because it sets up terrible stack sizes if I were to push), or air? I haven't seen himm take this line before, and really its extremely rare for anyone to take so its hard to know whats going on. On the turn, villain would probably almost never continue a bluff on an ace as that is clearly the majority of my range. Anyone consider folding? Re: 5/10 against flop check raise by pfr
what else are you going to do? folding flop sucks, folding turn sucks. its not a great spot vs a good player, esp with the size of his turn bet, but you really cannot and should not fold.

[/ QUOTE ] i would say the only thing you could do differently would be to check behind on the flop. i wouldn't really mind that, but i like betting a little more. |

Re: 5/10 against flop check raise by pfr
why is folding the flop to the first instance of this a bad thing? (i think it probably is, just trying to think outside the box here)

Because he's good AK is a large part of his range. Unless he c/r a lot in general Im folding the flop.

Re: 5/10 against flop check raise by pfr
Yah I would very seldom call this flop c/r it just screams "lol i'm gonna stack your ace random kicker". KKK or some other monster but the very 'strength' of the line makes it inherently suspicious I suppose (since people flop very strong hands so rarely).
